About Gareth

I Spent Years Building Businesses That Looked Successful. Then I Redefined What Success Means.

I'm Gareth Llewelyn-Williams — founder, advisor, and the creator of Net Wearth, a philosophy that challenges the way we measure wealth, leadership, and business success.

After years of building, scaling, and advising across multiple ventures, I realised something was fundamentally broken. The businesses that looked most successful on paper were often draining the people who built them. Growth was being measured in numbers, not in what those numbers actually meant for people, planet, or purpose.

Net Wearth is my answer. A new lens for founders and leaders who want their work to create real, lasting wealth — not just financial returns, but freedom, contribution, and regeneration.

I share these ideas through books, keynotes, and writing. When it's time for applied strategy and transformation, that work happens through Wearth ES.

The Philosophy

Net Wearth: From Accumulation to Contribution

"Wealth isn't what you accumulate. It's what remains when everything else is stripped away."

Net Worth measures what you’ve taken from the world and stored. Net Wearth measures what you’ve created that endures.

It asks a different question: not “how much did you make?” but “what did you build that was worth making?”

Regeneration

The New Measure

Net Wearth

Where the Name Comes From

Ideas That Travel

Net Wearth: Leave the Beach Better Than You Found It

This book began with a rule learned on a South African beach before the age of ten: leave it better than you found it. Then thirty years of chasing, building, and accumulating buried that rule — until the world stopped in 2020 and the questions caught up.

Net Wearth is what came from that reckoning. Part memoir, part philosophy, part invitation — it asks the question most of us avoid: what is your success actually doing to your life?

For founders, leaders, and anyone who suspects the way we measure wealth is costing us the things that matter most.
